Howard T. Sliger

Howard Sliger is one of those rare individuals whose personal power had a major impact on what the Ernest Holmes company came to be.

In the days when Howard had his influence, the new towing-recovery industry was being born and nurtured. He was the man who took what Ernest Holmes told him to do and saw that it was done. He was Production Manager from 1925 to 1969. Ideas are
merely ideas until someone puts it on paper, then in form. Even then, nothing happens until a production man decides how it can be made into a practical piece that people will buy and which will show a profit to the manufacturer. That’s what Howard did.
