Jurgen Fieres

Jurgen is a product of the industry as his parent owned and operated a “patrol station” in Langen, near Frankfurt. As a result of their close proximity to the Rhein-Main Airport, Jurgen became interested in aviation at an early age and went on to pursue a career as a flight engineer which was unexpectedly canceled by a hearing problem that cost him his physical license. At this point, Jurgen returned to school for several years, majoring in management. He then joined his father in the family towing and recovery business, which they soon expanded. He was elected to the managing board of the Towing and Recovery Association of Germany (VBA) and several years later, as Vice President of the International Federation of Recovery Specialists (IFRS). At the end of 1992, Jurgen was able to assist the IFRS in the development of “European Standards” that are now being adopted by the member countries of the IFRS throughout Europe.

Indeed, Jurgen Fieres is one of the bright, young professionals of our industry that seeks to improve the industry for us all.
