Fred Scroggs, Jr.

Fred Scroggs was assisting a stranded motorist on the on ramp to the interstate on October 15, 2015. The motorist needed a tire change and Fred insisted she return to the vehicle to wait where it was safe while he did the work. Just as the customer entered her vehicle, an SUV traveling at a high rate of speed hit Fred’s flatbed and then struck Fred. Fred’s insistence on safety saved the life of his customer but Fred died at the scene as a result of the accident. We respectfully Fred Scroggs, Jr. to our “Wall of the Fallen”.
