World’s First Composite Body Tow Truck

1995 Freightliner w/25 Ton Composite Body Prototype Wrecker

Manufactured  By:  Jerr-Dan Corporation

Hagerstown, Maryland

This unit was built in 1995 and was the first of its kind.  Jerr-Dan Corporation was once again using its innovative technology when building and creating this “prototype” 25 Ton Composite Wrecker Body.  Throughout the years, this truck has been used in many towing and certification classes through WreckMaster.  A complete restoration of this truck has been done and the truck has proudly been donated to the International Towing and Recovery and Recovery Museum.  The restoration was done by Prairie Archway, Internationals PDI Center and we sincerely appreciate their hard work in bringing this beauty back to its original state.
