T. Carter Stringfellow

After World War II there was a great concern about whether the manufacturing capacity in the industry was sufficient to meet the need. Mr. T. Carter Stringfellow in Nashville became an associate of Ernest Holmes and the two collaborated in filling the demand. Along the way the Stringfellow products became very popular and his talents added greatly to the towing industry. The Stringfellow name represents quality and respect.

The company he created still does business at its plant in Nashville of which he was President for forty years. The Hall of Fame has from its inception sought to recognize the pioneers of the trade who made major contributions to the industry which serves the public today. The late Mr. T. Carter Stringfellow is a one of those pioneers whose efforts in years past are appreciated today and will be in the future.
