’88 Chevy – Graham’s Wrecker Service Copy

The current business owners Scott & Michelle Graham purchased the truck in 1987 for Scott’s father Mark Graham. It is a tribute truck to his grandfather Olen Graham’s 1950 Chevrolet wrecker.

Mark then restored the truck to the proper colors, lettering, etc. The truck does operate and is functional. It is used as a show piece in front of the business on a daily basis.

It does make an occasional appearance in parades and Wrecker gatherings.

“We built this truck in 1990. It is an 88 C-30 with 454 , 4speed, and 4:10 gears. It sports a Hydra-Tech “Road Runner” bed with 3 stage underreach, 3 stage boom, and twin 10K planetary winches. It is very light and versatile.

We updated 2 years ago with rear disc brakes, and a hybrid air ride system that uses a semi style leveling valve to maintain rear ride height. We also replaced the wheel lift unit. Sneeker/Hy-Tech still makes this part, though there were only 64 of these beds made.

This is # 36. We use this truck every day.”
