Jiro Yanase

History:      Mr. Yanase is chairman of the Board of Directors of Yanase Co., Ltd., and 80 year old company, which specializes in the importation of the world’s most outstanding product including automobiles of General Motors, OPEL and Mercedes-Benz to Japan and has the largest market share of imported automobiles here.  While on visit to the United States in the early 1970’s he saw his first Holmes wrecker.  Realizing that this product would be very useful to the rapidly developing towing and recovery industry in Japan, he began importing the Holmes products.  Over the years, Mr. Yanase has worked tirelessly to promote professionalism in our industry and is one of the most respected individuals in the automobile industry.  Thanks to his great contribution to the automobile industry abroad as well as in Japan, Mr. Yanase has so far received most excellent awards from the Japanese, Germ and United States Governments and is currently holding top-ranking posts of major related automobile associations in Japan.
