A native of the northwest, Denny and his wife Shirley have raised 6 children and presently have 17 grandchildren.  Since Denny has traveled extensively throughout the United States assisting others in the industry, he enjoys many friends throughout the country.             Denny entered the towing and recovery industry through his service station operation which he opened in 1961.  While his towing and recovery business has grown, Denny has also been quick to give back to both his industry and community.  He is a charter member of TRAA and served as its Idaho Director for 20 years.  He was also one of the founders of the Idaho Towing and Recovery Professional Association, serving as President three terms and District Representative “many times”.  Denny is a long time member of Friends of Towing and ITA and has actively supported state association functions in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, California, Montana and beyond.
In the community, Denny was recognized as the Chubbuck Idaho Business Man of the Year in 1993.  He has been on the Chubbuck Fire Department for 20 years, serving as Chief ten of those years.  Denny has been active in the local Lions Club for 37 years, serving as President 2 years.  He has also aggressively supported the Lion Eye Program.  As an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, Denny is always quick to respond to local needs, in addition to his national endeavors, thus more than qualifying him as a member of the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame.
