Sherry White 2022 Hall of Fame Inductee

Sherry White

Sherry was born in Georgia and moved to California at a young age. Attending and participating in Church has always been part of her life. She has sung with the Centerville Community Chorus for over 15 years. She has been with the group that sang at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

In 1976 Sherry and Walt purchased a Shell service station, which turned into four in a short time. Total years in business 42 years.

Active member of CTTA since 1986. Served as Director of CTTA, For over 40 years, White has served her state’s towing industry and continues to do so despite her retirement from the profession. She is an exemplary member of the California Tow Truck Association having served as secretary, vice president, and president of that organization. She taught training and leadership classes for CTTA members and worked at numerous CTTA conventions and tow shows.

She is a charter member of Tow Ladies of California and was inducted as a CTTA Rich Chappel  Industry Leader in 2019 for her service to the towing industry. CTTA hired White to oversee operations until staff could be hired. She currently serves as vice president of Emergency Road Service Coalition of America (ERSCA).
