Erwin Mendoza Geremillo

On the evening of May 31, 2019, Erwin Geremillo was assisting a motorist on the side of the Interstate in southern California. As he worked to change the tire for his customer, a semi-truck hauling two trailers of rocks approached. The driver of the semi failed to slow down and move over.

As the truck drifted across the white line, it struck and killed Edwin and fled the scene.
