Christopher G. Hicks

Chris Hicks was working as a heavy duty tow truck operator on the grounds of the Tampa airport on August 27, 2016. During his work to load a piece of heavy machinery for towing, Chris suffered a heat stroke and collapsed.

The heat stroke caused a heart attack and Chris was not located for a period of time. During the time he laid on the tarmac, Chris also suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his back and legs. Paramedics and hospital staff were unable to save Chris and he died leaving behind a daughter and a grandson.
