Danny Horton

My name is Danny Horton and I am seeking re-election to the Board of Directors for the ITRHFM. I have enjoyed serving the past three years and would be honored to continue. I have spent over 52 years involved in the Towing & Recovery Industry, starting out as a driver, dispatcher, and manager for some of the largest companies in our area. Later, I was blessed to become an Instructor with Ross Kinman Programs, from there I taught all over the Country and at our local Community College. I also served on TRAA’s Educational Committee as Vice Chairman and was on their Board of Trustees. I’ve been married 43 years to Tonya who I picked up in a Holmes tow truck on our first date. We have two sons, Dallas, who owns Horton’s Wrecker Service In Manassas, VA, and Miles, is a Sr. Manager for Red Hat Inc. based in Raleigh, NC. I am also a proud grandfather (Pappy) to four to which GiGi and I spoil!

I have supported all aspects of the Museum for years and am a current member. I was humbled and honored to be Inducted into the H.O.F. Class of 2018. Reaching out to families that have lost a loved one to discuss the Survivor Fund and The Wall of The Fallen is both sobering, and rewarding, to help those affected by loss. I would like the opportunity to continue to serve on the Board and appreciate your support.

Thank you.
